Description
Get the paternity benefit in 4 steps:
- Add the Procedure to the cart and complete the purchase.
- Fill in the requested data and attach the necessary documents in the “Attach File” field.
- Make the payment and you will receive an email with proof of your procedure.
- Once processed, AEMTIA will contact you to send you the document.
Files to attach
- Parents IDs.
- Family book or registration in the Civil Registry of birth.
- Contribution bases report, which the company will have to provide you with, if you are working.
- Bank certificate of the holder of the current account where the benefit will be entered.
- Digital certificate. (Send it separately, by mail, to the address: info@aemtia.com).

Who can claim paternity benefit?
Beneficiaries will be self-employed or self-employed persons of any gender, as long as they are:
- Persons affiliated and discharged or in a situation similar to discharge.
- Have covered a minimum contribution period that varies according to age.
- Be aware of the payment of the quotas, for which the working people are directly responsible.
Extension cases:
- Extension by 1 week for each parent for each child, from the second, in case of multiple births, adoptions or fostering.
- Extension by 1 week for each parent in case of disability of the child.
- Extension due to premature birth and hospitalization (for a period exceeding 7 days) following birth, up to a maximum of 13 weeks.
